The Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />Page 2 <br />July 3, 2001 <br /> <br />Typically, the City has held the assessment and public headng the same evening after <br />bids are received so that actual bid costs can be presented. Using this same type of <br />schedule, there are four resolutions attached for the City Council's consideration. They <br />are as follows: <br /> <br />1. A Resolution Receiving the Feasibility Report and Ordering a Public Hearing for <br /> Monday, August 13, 2001 <br />2. A Resolution Determining Assessed Cost and Ordedng Preparation of Proposed <br /> Assessment Roll. The assessment headng would also be held August 13, 2001. <br />3. A Resolution Ordering the Preparation of Plans and Specifications <br />4. A Resolution Approving the Plans and Specifications and Ordering the <br /> Advertisement for Bids <br /> <br />It is anticipated that construction bids would be received on August 7, 2001, and be <br />available for the Council to consider on August 13, 2001, after the public headng and <br />assessment hearing are held. <br /> <br />If you have any questions regarding any of this information, I will be in attendance at <br />your July 9, 2001, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Howard R.
