<br />Regular Meeting Minutes

<br />The Northstar Corridor Development Authority met in regular session on April 5,2001, in the Board Room at the
<br />Sherburne County Government Center, Elk River, Minnesota.
<br />
<br />Present were: Betsy Wergin, Lynn George, Mary Richardson, Rick Speak, Paul Ostrow, Mark Stenglein,
<br />Paul McCarron, Dave Saunders, Steve Billings, Bob Bamette, Patrick Cairns, Duane Cekalla, Ken Paulson,
<br />Duane Grandy, Tom Cruikshank, Woody Bissett, Ewald Peterson, John Norgren, Terry Nagorski, Lewis
<br />Stark, Tom Gamec, Elliott Perovich, Margo LaBau, Jim McLean, Jean Keely, Linda Jungwirth, Colleen
<br />Hernnann, Jay McLinden, Dean Michalko, Paul Danielson, Lynn Clarkowski, Jim Barton, Mike Schadauer,
<br />Mike Rogers, Scott Harlicker, Jori Sontag, Patrick Wusman Robert Kirchner, Vic Oviatt, Gary Botzck, Peg

<br />The meeting was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Chairperson Betsy Wergin.
<br />
<br />Tim Yantos reviewed the NCDA transition schedule dated March 30, 2001. Mr. Yantos noted that
<br />the Chicago trip has been cancelled. The day-to-day management responsibilities of the CRCCC
<br />will be performed by the Executive Committee, as provided for in the NCDA's Joint Powers
<br />Agreement #1. No action taken.

<br />A motion was made by Duane Grandy, seconded by Tom Wenzel and carried unanimously to
<br />approve the agenda of Thursday, April 5, 2001, and the meeting minutes of March 1, 2001, as
<br />presented
<br />
<br />Margo LaBau, Minnesota Department of Transportation, introduced Mike Schadauer and Lynn
<br />Clarkowski, MnDOT staff who will be working on the Northstar Corridor project. Ms. LaBau
<br />stated that MnDOT is very excited about the project and is looking forward to continuing the work
<br />accomplished by the Northstar Corridor Development Authority.

<br />Executive Committee Report:

<br />A motion was made by Paul McCarron, seconded by Dave Saunders and carried
<br />unanimously to approve Resolution #2001-02 as recommended by the Executive Committee
<br />to execute agreements and other documents necessary to accomplish the immediate
<br />assignment to the Minnesota Department of Transportation of the NCDA professional
<br />services agreements with the following contractors:

<br />Harkins Cunningham, Attorneys at Law
<br />Robert L. Kessler, Attorney at Law
<br />Mainline Management, Inc.
<br />Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson & Associates, Inc.
<br />The Burlin~on Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company
<br />
<br />and authorize the Chair or Vice Chair to sign said Resolution.
