Pat McBrady notes that it has been three years since the last
contract negotiation and two years since the last increase in charges. An increase of $.03 per meter, $.75 per
readout, and $2.50 per disconnect is requested at this time. He cites the increases in number of meters to be
read, the need for more employees on his part, and the problems concerned with disconnects as his reasons
for an increase. Staff views his request as reasonable. Examples of the problems encountered with meter
reading, and the alternatives to a Contract Meter Reading Firm were discussed. Commission directed Staff
to return with in-house costs for meter reading.

James Tralle moved to approve the request from McBrady Meter Reading for the increases of $.03
per meter, $.75 per read-out, and $2.50 per disconnect.
