The sl~etches ale the product of trying to <br />address the issues we hea~:d dining the public comment portion of the Focused .Area Study. <br />Staff believes that changes to the area ale inevitable and, in many cases, out of our contiol. <br />Anticipated changes include changes to access, marl~et forces, and land value. <br />These playas represent divergent land uses designed to facilitate discussion. Staff is not <br />reco~~nending tla.e EDA/ PC/ or CC adopt one plan over anothex•; rathe~.•, Staff is <br />envisioning a dialogue where the group will choose pieces of each plan, which will tiansfer <br />to one formal land use plan. <br />The Council may hear or ,will Hear some issues that are not addressed in tla.e plan. Many <br />issues, including, for example, the issue with sig~lage or wayfinding, will be addressed in the <br />text portion of the plan to be developed later dais winter. <br />Copies of the plan were sent to each property owner, along with this memo. The Hope is <br />that the public can comment and discuss the plan with accurate information, equalizing the <br />information, and increasing the buy-in of the plan once adopted. <br />
