Update on Elk: Terrace Mobile Home Park: <br /> <br />City Planner Steve Ach informed the Council that the continued public hearing <br />for the proposed closure of the Elk: Terrace Mobile Home Park: will be held on <br />January 21st. Steve Ach proceeded to update the Council on the progress of the <br />park closure. <br /> <br />Several homeowners of the Elk: Terrace Mobile Home Park: were present and <br />voiced their concerns about not being able to set up an appointment to <br />negotiate with Earl Hohlen. A concern was raised by one of the mobile home <br />park residents about using the appraised value of the mobile home versus the <br />assessed value. <br /> <br />10. Other Business <br /> <br />10.1. Consider City Council Meeting Dates <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO CANCEL THE DECEMBER 23, 1996, CITY <br />COUNCIL MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER MOVED TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 18, 1997, TO DISCUSS GENERAL COUNCIL BUSINESS. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council that the January 6, 1997, City Council <br />meeting begin at 6 p.m. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that he would contact Sherburne County <br />Commissioners to try to set a joint meeting with Sherburne County and City <br />Council on January 27th. <br /> <br />11. Staff Updates <br /> <br />There were no staff updates. <br /> <br />12. Adjournment <br /> <br />There being no further business, COUNCILMEMBER SCHEEL MOVED TO ADJOURN <br />THE MEETING. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION.
