<br />(h) Licensee shall have a regular schedule for appliance pick-up, to <br /> be approved by City Staff. <br /> <br />(02) Yard Waste Composting. The operation of a yard waste composting <br />facility on the Landfill Property within the City limits may be conducted, if in <br />conformance with all applicable terms and conditions of this License, subject to <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />(a) The operation of the yard waste composting facility shall comply <br />in all respects with all applicable requirements of the City Code of <br />Ordinances and all applicable federal, state, and county laws and <br />regulations. <br /> <br />(b) The yard composting facility shall be located and operated as <br />shown on plans submitted by Licensee and approved by City staff. <br /> <br />(c) All plastics shall be removed from yard waste brought to the <br />facility before composting. <br /> <br />(d) All municipal solid waste must be immediately removed from yard <br />waste and landfilled. <br /> <br />(e) The yard waste composting facility must be operated in such a <br />manner as to keep odors to a minimum. If odor becomes a <br />problem staff may require more frequent turning of compost piles <br />and/or watering to ensure that the compost remains aerobic and <br />breaks down as quickly as possible. <br /> <br />(f) The maximum amount of yard waste which may be accepted is <br />100,000 cubic yards per year. <br /> <br />(g) Positive drainage away from the compost area must be <br />implemented, as approved by City staff. <br /> <br />(h) Yard waste and/or compost may not be used as daily cover for the <br />landfill upon approval from the Environmental Administrator. The <br />criteria used by the Environmental Administrator is whether, in <br />his/her sole judgement, the compost material is inert and shall <br />allow up to 2/3 of the daily cover to be compost. <br /> <br />(i) That Licensee is in strict compliance with all other terms, <br />conditions and requirements of this License, including specifically, <br />but not limited to, the operational requirements, performance <br />standards and environmental monitoring requirements of sections <br />4,6,7, and 8; and the requirement of sections 17 and 25 to <br />[WMI7] <br /> 6 <br /> <br />
