~~ rrnrr nu r~r nm c' n rLTrr n /'A n r r ~ A r~ noDZr.~ <br />Employees who have worked at least one-half time during the twelve months preceding a <br />leave are entitled to use accrued personal sick leave benefits for absences due to an <br />illness of or injury to the employee's minor child, or a child under 20 years of age <br />attending secondary school. <br />3~~-- ~'E~Gl~~4E'T~~'-~,~~~-Az-6'~' Dom-- ^' rrT' <br />Employees who have worked at least one-half time during the proceeding twelve months <br />are entitled to up to 16 hours leave during any 12-month period to attend school <br />conferences or classroom activities related to the employee's child, provided the <br />conferences or classroom activities cannot be scheduled during non-work hours. If an <br />employee's child receives child care services or attends apre-kindergarten regular or <br />special education program, the employee may use the leave time to attend a conference, <br />or activity related to the employee's child, or to observe and monitor the services and <br />program, provided the conference, activity or observation cannot be scheduled during <br />non-work hours. <br />When the need for leave under this section is foreseeable, the employee must provide <br />reasonable prior notice of the leave to his or her immediate supervisor and make a <br />reasonable effort to schedule the leave so as not to unduly disrupt 7 Testy tilities <br />business. <br />~7J• nnA7L' dl,..l D Anr~1 A 7<Tl] nD!' A ~vrnvr"iaiT'=vr~ o ~Q~~n1~7 r L-A~ <br />Employees who work an average of twenty (20) or more hours per week who seek to <br />undergo a medical procedure to donate bone marrow or an organ or partial organ will be <br />granted up to forty (40) hours of paid leave. The TT TUtilities may require verification <br />by a physician of the purpose and length of each leave requested by the employee to <br />donate bone marrow. <br />NATIONAL GUARD AND RESERVE LEAVE <br />Any officer or employee of the TT T tiliti s who is a member of the National Guard or <br />other reserve unit is entitled to a leave of absence from public office or employment <br />without loss of pay, seniority status, efficiency rating, vacation leave, sick leave, or other <br />benefits for the time that he/she is engaged with the reserve in training or active service <br />so long as such leave does not exceed a total of fifteen (15) days in any calendar year. <br />Such leave will be allowed only in cases where the required military or naval service is <br />satisfactorily performed.
