ORDINANCE 96 - <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER ZONING MAP TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM RIC (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) <br />TO LI (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) <br /> <br />CASE NO. ZC 96-18 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The duly adopted Zoning Map of the City of Elk River is <br />hereby amended to rezone the property described as: <br /> <br /> Section 2. <br />findings: <br /> <br />See Attached Exhibit A <br /> <br />The rezoning is being approved based on the following <br /> <br /> 1. The proposed rezoning is consistent with the Comprehensive <br /> Land Use Plan designation of LI (Light Industrial). <br /> <br /> 2. The area has access to a major arterial, Highway 169, by way of <br /> County Road 13. <br /> <br /> 3. The area is within the urban service area with availability of <br /> urban services and utilities upon future development. <br /> <br /> 4. The proposed rezoning is consistent with the concept of <br /> providing industrial land within the urban service area. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force <br />from and after the date of its pubhcation. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this __ day of ,1996, by the City <br />Council of the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Henry A.
