<br />am wrung this letter in suppo~ of the kennel licensing of Kim and Jahn Meyer. Dn
<br />February S, ~oD9 our delightful Chocolate Lab, wham we named Dakota, was born to
<br />Cheesy and frock, both chocolate labs awned by Kim and John Meyer. After responding to
<br />a sign advertising chaco~at~.l~b pupp~e~, my husband Tom and I visited their hope in the
<br />hopes of adopting one of the puppies. Their home and yard was clean and well kept, even
<br />though they were in the midst o~ moving. I was expressly impressed by the behavior and
<br />temperament of their two adult labs, Cheesy and Srock. In my experience, dogs make
<br />themselves knawn by barking when a visitor arrives. This, however, was not the case, Seth
<br />frock and Cheesy were well tempered and quiet open our arrival, and exhibited gentle and
<br />obedient traits. That is one of the many reasons why we chase Dakota as our ~ami~~ doh.
<br />Dath Srock and Cheesy were very well behaved during our visit which lasted a~prnximately
<br />two hours. bath Kim and Jahn seemed to love and take very good care of their dogs and
<br />the puppies, ensuring that they had enough food, treats, and space for adequate exercise.
<br />In addition, they gave very good advice an how to care for Dakota ~ to include timing of
<br />proper vaccinations and veterinarian visits, feeding schedules, house breaking, kenneling,
<br />hygiene, exercise, and also some basic obedience training. Kira Meyer kept detailed
<br />records of the doffs including their breeding lines and veterinary documentation, which she
<br />provided copies ol: at the time of adoption. She also seemed quite knowledgable in the traits
<br />of a good laboradore, camrnenting an what the vet should be looking at during visits ii.e, hip
<br />measurements and signs and symptoms of illness. the also welcomed any future photos
<br />and updates on Dakota, and seemed to be sincerely attached to the puppies,
<br />Since adapting Dakota, we have been mare than satisfied with our decision. Dakota is a
<br />remarkable deg a a true family dog, lie is very well mannered and hardly ever barks or
<br />cries, except for when he really needs your attention. He is very gentle and loving with our
<br />six children.
<br />In conclusion, l feel that Kip, and John Meyer are very gaud and knowledgable breeders and
<br />will do the best they can to ensure the safety and health of any dogs they have in their
<br />possession,
