That giant period <br />will run from October 1, 2009 until Septembe~• 30, 2010. <br />Sergeant Jeff Moxdal and Offices Todd Eiicl~son submitted this giant, which is the largest sum of g~:ant <br />money eves received. The awa~:d was $90,000 which will be spread out amongst the law enforcement <br />agencies here in She~•burne County. An additional X5,000 was au~axded to pay for dispatching overtime as <br />well as an additional $25,000 to the local State Patrol Unit for a total of X120,000. This grant will pay for <br />DwI enforcement, speed enforcement, and seat belt enforcement. <br />~1'e are required to send two officers to the ~`a~drds Zera deaths conference in Duluth on October 28 and <br />29, 2009, The grant pays for one officer while the city has to pay for the second. The cost for that <br />conference is approximately X300 including conference fees and lodging. <br />I have attached the resolution that needs to be approved and signed.
