Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br />January 5, 2009 <br />----------------------------- <br />• 30 artists have made sales, with 19 of those having made multiple sales. <br />• A gift shop area features artwork of 20-25 artists <br />• Classes are being conducted (2 in November). <br />• An Exhibit Committee makes decisions on art to be displayed <br />• Volunteers have logged in over 2,000 hours. <br />• Average of 11 visitors per day, with many more during major exhibits. <br />• Over 40 children attended the tree ornament -making session. <br />• New signs will be installed next week <br />Page 2 <br />Chair Wilson stated he was pleased with howthe building was being used and felt the use <br />was a nice addition to the downtown. <br />Mr. Raymond expressed his thanks to the HRA for their support. Update on Neighborhood Stabilization Program Application <br />Ms. Decker reviewed the progress to date on the NSP funding application process. She <br />reviewed the targeted areas which were identified bythe HRA. Ms. Decker stated that the <br />HRA is asked to authorize staff to submit application for Technical Assistance Funds, and to <br />call a special meeting to review and approve the NSP funding application prior to submittal. <br />MOTION BY COMMISSIONER TOTH AND SECONDED BY <br />COMMISSIONER KUESTER TO CALL A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HRA <br />FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2009 AT 5:30 P.M.
