Ach, City Planner~ ~ <br /> August 26, 1996 <br /> <br /> Proposed Senior Housing Project <br /> at the NW Corner of Highland and <br /> Jackson Avenue <br /> <br />Last Thursday a neighborhood meeting was held to discuss the issues <br />relating to the proposed 56 unit townhouse project and 11 single family lots. <br />The neighborhood meeting presented an opportunity for the developer and <br />residents to express their concerns with the project and explore what <br />modifications could be made to the plan. <br /> <br />The following is a summary of the issues and possible solutions that will be <br />explored by the developer and presented before the City Council Monday <br />night. <br /> <br />1. Issue <br /> Density of single-family homes along 193rd. <br /> Solution <br /> <br /> Remove one of the lots and provide a minimum of 90 feet of frontage <br /> for each of the lots along 193rd. <br /> <br />2. Issue <br /> Avoid impact on property values in the area. <br /> Solution <br /> <br /> Developer include a deed restriction on each of the lots along 193rd to <br /> require a minimum $130,000 home be constructed. <br /> <br />3.
