Section 30-1. Definitions <br />Sign, Alteration of, means any change, reconstruction, relocation, or enlargement/reduction <br />of a sign, or of any of its component parts. For signs that are composed of individual letters or symbols, have an <br />irregular shape, have open spaces or are composed of two or more individual <br />cabinets, the. sign area shall be the area of the smallest single rectanQUlar figure that <br />encloses it. <br />~2) If a Freestanding or Monument sign is constructed so that the faces are not back <br />to back, the angles shall not exceed ten (10) degrees. If the angle is greater than ten <br />110) degrees, the total area of both sides added together shall not exceed the <br />maximum allowable sign area for that district. <br />
