The Trackless wing type mower was designed to
drastically cut mowing time on those large areas ~
such as campuses and parks. Normal undulating
ground required flexibility in mowers to avoid
scalping. Trackless solved this problem with a
3 section front mounted mower comprised of a 72"
'3 spindle PTO driven centre section with a hinged
24" hydraulic driven wing on each side. Separate
'valves control each hydraulic motor and lift
-~ cylinder giving the operator the option of 72", 96"
'and 120" cutting width. The MT V has a built-in
hydraulic system to power the right wing and an
?ptional pump and valve to powe.r the left wing.
~PECIFICATIONS:
~ck: 72" - 3/16" plate, rear discharge.
5pindles: 3 - Timken bearings, greasable,
Blades: 3 - 25" x 21,~'' x 1/4" highliff.
Casters: Four swivel with 4" x 10" pneumatic tires.
Drive: PTO to right angle gear box.
V-belts: 2.
Idlers: 2. - ~
Cutting heights: 1 I/2" - 4" in 1/2" increments.
Cutting tip speed: 18,500 f.p.m. @ 2200 engine r.p.m.
Wings: 24",
Caster: 1 - 4" x 10" pneumatic.
Roller: 1 gauge.
Hydraulic motor drives spindle by V-belt.
Lift cylinder: Hydraulic - 2" x 8".
Hinge: Compound - 110° ARC,
Control valves: 2 - I power, I lift per wing.

9.5" (241 mm)

78.5" (1994 mm)

49.5" (1257 mm) '1 ,,
60" (1524 mm)

76,5" (1943 mm)
146.5" (3721 mm)

.1

13" ~
(330 mm)
