Document B <br />Page I of 1 <br />Berg, David <br />From: Roger Stradal [Roger.Stradal@dnr.state.mn.us] Sent: Mon 4/6/2009 3:07 PM <br />70: Berg, David <br />Cc: ' <br />Subject: Water Appropriation Permits <br />I-ttachments: <br />Dave; <br />Attached is the link to the DNR webpage about water appropriation permits. <br />Any appropriation over 10,000 gallons per day or 1 million gallons per year requires a permit from the DNR. <br />A simple example is; A 100 gpm pump takes only 1 2/3 hours to pump 10,000 gallons. <br />The MDH, Mn Dept. of Health, would be the contact for the question about Class A Drillers and well drilling in <br />general. Like the MDH said earlier a City cannot restrict well drilling without a Delegation Order.
