_~:. r, ~ - Date: Monday, August 20 Location: Breezy Point's Whitebirch Course Registration: 1 1 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Breezy Point Conference Center Start time: 1:30 p.m. (shot-gun start) Format: Best Ball Scramble Tournament For people staying at Breezy Point: The cost of this tournament is included as part of your "lodging package" with Breezy Point, but you need to indicate your request for a golf cart on the Breezy Point registration form. You must also register yourself and~or team on the MMUA registration form. For people driving in for the tournament and not staying overnight: If you are not staying at Breezy Point, you need to register in the "Commuters" section of the Breezy Point registration form. The commuter cost for the green fees, cart 8~ BBQ will be $72. Please register by July 20, 2007. Everyone will need to register as an individual or as a scramble team with MMUA on the MMUA reg- istration form. You will also need to be registered fora "Lodging Package" or as a "Dinner (BBQ) 8~ Golf Package" with Breezy Point on their registra- tion form. Breezy Point will not allow walk-ins. You must be pre-registered! You do not need to attend the meeting in order to play in the tournament. The individual players you register will be assigned to a team. If you have someone you Date: Monday, August 20 Check-in: 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. at MMUA table in Breezy Point Conference Center Lobby Start time: 1:30 p.m. This year we will again have two groups of riders, but everyone will ride together for a portion of the ride. The short ride will be Nisswa to Merrifield and back, which is approximately 14 miles. The long ride will travel from Nisswa to Brainerd and back, which is approximately 32 miles. You will ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail, which travels cross country along lakes and woods. It is mostly flat and was recently resurfaced. We will have bikes (with helmets) available for you to rent, or bring your own along. Please register in advance on the MMUA registra- tion form for the ride and your need for a rental bike. High-end road bikes will be available for anyone wanting that option. Leaders for the bike ride will again be our friends Scott Dietz and AI Crowser from Alexandria, Minn. would like to play with, please note it on the registra- tion form and we will try to accommodate you. If you register yourself on a team, be sure to talk with those people in advance to make sure they are not already registered on another team. Prizes will be awarded.
