GRE Transmission Division Operating Guideline 201 <br />Effective July 2001 <br />Revised May 2003 <br />4.1.2.1 substation fence <br />4.1.2.2 substation ground grid <br />4.1.2.3 substation rock <br />4.1.2.4 grading and site preparation <br />4.1.2.5 landscaping <br />4.1.2.6 substation battery <br />4.1.2.7 construction permits <br />4.1.3 Land: GRE will reimburse the Member System for the portion of land occupied <br />at an average cost per acre. This is typically 1/3 of an acre. <br />4.1.4 Control House: Refer to Operating Guideline # 3-17 Distribution Substation <br />Metering/Control Building. <br />4.1.5 GRE will submit to the Member System for review all design and construction <br />drawings for the Transmission Facilities. <br />4.1.6 The Member System will provide GRE with an easement for the Transmission <br />Facilities. <br />5. MEMBER SYSTEM TO INSTALL DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES WITHIN A GRE <br />TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION OR TRANSMISSION SWITCHING STATION <br />5.1 When it is necessary or prudent for a Member System to install Distribution Facilities <br />within a GRE Transmission substation or Transmission Switching Station, the Member <br />System will pay for the following: <br />5.1.1 Distribution Facilities: The Member System will pay 100% of the actual costs <br />of design a nd construction, including labor and material, of the distribution <br />facilities: <br />5.1.1.1 distribution structure foundations 8 concrete testing <br />5.1.1.2 distribution buswork <br />5.1.1.3 distribution structure and equipment <br />5.1.1.4 distribution switches and/or breakers <br />5.1.1.5 distribution switch and/or breaker wiring and installation <br />5.1.2 Common Facilities: The Member System will pay the incremental cost of actual <br />construction including labor and materials for the following: <br />5.1.2.1 substation fence <br />5.1.2.2 substation ground grid <br />5.1.2.3 substation rock <br />5.1.2.4 grading and site preparation <br />5.1.2.5 landscaping <br />5.1.2.6 substation battery <br />Page 4 of 6 <br />
