Elk River City Council Minutes Page 6 <br />June 21, 1993 <br />Steve Rohlf indicated that Metro Truck Equipment of 15683 Jarvis Street <br />is requesting an amendment to their existing conditional use permit to <br />construct a 4,000 square foot storage building. <br />Dan Tveite, Planning Commission Representative, indicated that the <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the conditional use with <br />four stipulations. <br />Mayor Duitsman opened the public hearing. There being no one for or <br />against. the matter, Mayor Duitsman closed the public hearing. <br />COUNCILMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />AMENDMENT FOR A TRUCK TERMINAL BY METRO TRUCK EQUIPMENT. WITH THE <br />FOLLOWING STIPULATIONS: <br />1. METRO TRUCK EQUIPMENT CONTINUE TO PLANT TREES UNTIL THEY REACH THE <br />1 TREE FOR~EACH 40 FEET OF LOT PERIMETER REQUIREMENT. <br />2. METRO TRUCK EQUIPMENT COMBINE THEIR LOTS INTO ONE PARCEL. <br />3. THE CITY ENGINEER REVIEWS AND APPROVES DRAINAGE. <br />4. THE ROOF ON THE ACCESSORY STRUCTURE IS COLORED METAL AND THE SIDE <br />OF THE BUILDING FACING JARVIS IS CONSTRUCTED WITH MATERIAL <br />CONSISTENT WITH CITY ORDINANCE (OTHER THAN METAL SKIN). <br />COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. Case No. CU-93-12 <br />Steve Roh stated that Jerry and Thiry Minor .- a requested a <br />conditional. u permit to allow enclosed stora to include two mini <br />storage buildings Gated in a C3/Highway Comm al :zone.
