The Committee's recommendations will be shared with
the EDA at its March 9t" regular EDA meeting.
• Is there additional information or resources needed by the Committee in
order to respond to the EDA's request?
• In the past the EDA's role in marketing space has been as a reference and
resource about available properties in response to inquiries and prospects
that contact the city. In addition to current marketing efforts are there
other strategies that could be considered?
• How might the marketing of retail/commercial space be handled
differently than marketing industrial space?
• Is there additional information that can be provided on the city website to
market Elk River as an attractive location for business?
• Are there areas in which the conditions of the vacant property and location
are underutilized to a point that may suggest a need for the city to
evaluate redevelopment options?
