I am very pleased to send you the enclosed notification of compliance with the <br />Local Government Pay Equity Act. Since the law was passed in 1984, jurisdictions have worked <br />diligently to meet compliance requirements and your work is to be commended. <br />As you know, Minnesota Rules Chapter 3920 specifies the procedure and criteria for measuring <br />compliance and information about your situation is enclosed. In an effort to conserve resources, <br />we are no longer enclosing the "Guide to Understanding Pay Equity Compliance and Computer <br />Reports." Instead, we are directing you to our web site www.doer.state.mn.us for this <br />publication or we will send you a copy in the mail upon request. If you have any questions about <br />the materials or about pay equity in general, please contact me at (651) 259-3761.
