City of Elk River Park Rules <br />Highlights of General Park Rules <br />• Alcohol is permitted provided that it is for your own/family use, no laws are <br />broken, and that no unruly behavior occurs. <br />• Motorized vehicles are prohibited in the parks outside of the parking lot <br />areas. <br />• Dogs or other pets must be on an 8-foot leash or shorter and under control <br />of the handler at all times. Violation will result in a $100 fine. <br />• The handler of each pet shall pick up and dispose of all animal wastes in <br />proper waste receptacles. Violation will result in a $100 fine. <br />• Golfing is not allowed in any of the Elk River City parks. <br />• Charcoal fires permitted in barbecue grills only. No wood fires are allowed. <br />• Place trash and recyclables in their proper receptacles. <br />• Parks are closed from 10:30pm to Gam <br />Highlights of River's Edge Commons Park Rules <br />• Smoke free park. <br />• Street level plaza will remain open during special events and private rentals <br />of lower park level. <br />• Underground utilities are present; driving spikes into ground is strictly <br />prohibited. <br />• Domestic animals are prohibited in the upper plaza area in the splash park <br />due to cleanliness and health reasons. <br />Elk <br />River <br />Parks and <br />
