He then entered the family real estate <br />business which he owned and operated for eight years. During this period of time he returned <br />to complete his college education. He also worked nights at General Electric and also owned a <br />catering business for six years called 'Smokin Brothers Ribs' which he eventfully sold in 1991. <br />While completing his graduate degree he worked for DeKalb County Government as an <br />Administrative Intern to the County Administrator. His duties included working with zoning <br />changes, assisting the clerk's office, creating a property tax manual, and represented the <br />County on the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />
