PROJECTORS-LCD/DLP/CRT
QTY A
tf~_ i~_r~~.
Use the PG-1 Projector GuardT"' to save unnecessary costs and hassles
caused by projector theft. A top security solution for schools and
gymnasiums, the PG-1 fully encloses projectors in a locked steel cage to
prevent theft, as well as recreational damage. The PG-1 fits 90% of
LCD/DLP projectors on the market and is easily retrofittable with
pre-existing installations.
~. _~;
Q. Can I install the PG-1 on apre-existing installation?
A. Yes. As long as the installation uses a 1 1/2" NPT Extension Column.
Q. Do [have to use the RPA Series Mount to use the PG-1?
A. No. The PG-1 can attach directly to only 1 1/2"NPT Extension Column. It can also attach
to the universal top of the RPA using the hardware provided.
4 Does the PG-1 allow easy access to the projector for maintenance?
A. Yes. You can easily unlock and remove the PG-1 from the projector without detaching
the projector or losing your projector registration.
Q. Does the PG-1 accommodate the roll, pitch and yaw adjustments of the RPA?
A. Yes. The PG-1 accommodates the roll, pitch and yaw adjustments of the RPA to help you
achieve registration.
Q. How do I know that the front opening on the PG-1 will align with my projector lens
placement?
A. The front opening in the PG-1 is adjustable to accommodate different lens positions.
The opening size does not obstruct projection, nor provide enough space for the
projector to be removed from the cage.
1. Verify your projector and all components (including projector mount, bracket and wires)
will fit into the overall dimensions.
2. Determine if you need an RPA Series Mount to install your projector. Cross-reference the
manufacturer and model number on the cross-reference chart. For the most recent cross-
reference chart, visit www.chiefmfg.com or call 1.800.582.6480 (domestic) / 952.894.6280
(international-.
3. Decide which extension column and ceiling plate you will need based on your installation.
,,_ .._1^,;:~~E~J~?~.t) 1=;C,=E~.SUIIE';
CMA-xxx Adjustable & Fixed Extension Columns ..........................
