1. Share your "Energy Ezpo Energy Saving Film" Story <br />You must submit your fdm to by 2008. The contest is open to <br />students in the 9~' and 10~' grade during the 200? - 2008 school year at Spectrum Charter <br />School in Elk River, Minnesota. <br />All film submissions will be created by a single student and must be less than 5 minutes <br />in length on DVD or VHS (DVDs are preferred) and accompanied by the following <br />information: <br />Release and Agreement (WE NEED TO CRAFT THIS STILL) <br />Elk River Energy Commission retains limited usage rights usage to all films <br />submitted---details are in the release and agreement. <br />Filmmakers' names, title of film and credits. <br />Each film must be produced using a budget of no more than $ <br />2. PARAMETERS -How does "Saving Energy" affect your life or <br />affect the life of someone in your family? <br />The "Energy Expo Saving Energy" film project explores how entrants or their families <br />are positively affected by energy-saving techniques. The subject of the film can be <br />serious or humorous. Creativity in the medium and also the subject matter is encouraged. <br />Our Focus <br />• The 'main character' can be you or a family member or a group of family <br />members. Tell the story of how saving energy affects your main <br />character/characters. <br />The Rules <br />• The film competition will start with an announcement on or around , <br />2008. <br />• All submissions are due , 2008. <br />• All films will be less than Sminutes long and will be submitted on DVD. <br />• The Elk River Energy Commission retains limited usage rights usage to all <br />submissions. Entrants agree to allow their films to be shown throughout the day at <br />the Energy Expo event and also agree to allow their films to be shown on the <br />Energy City website and on city cable channels throughout the state. <br />• Creativity is encouraged; variations in style and format are welcomed. <br />• For additional information please contact Bob Freeh at <br />
