<br />RIVER CITY CODE OF ORDI-
<br />NANCES
<br />The City Coun.cil of the City of
<br />Elk River does hereby ordain as
<br />follows:
<br />Section 1. Sec. 30-81. of the Elk
<br />River City Codes of. Ordinances
<br />shall be and is hereby amended to'
<br />read as follows:
<br />Sec. 30-91 Codes adopted by refc
<br />erence.
<br />The Minnesota State '. Building
<br />Code, as adopted by the
<br />Commissioner of Administration
<br />Pur.ll1.lallt, tqMinn. Stat.,s. ~ ,1~59...
<br />to 16B.75, including' all of the
<br />amendments, rules and regula-
<br />tions established, adopted and
<br />published from time to time by the
<br />Minnesota Commissioner of
<br />Administration, through the
<br />Building Codes and Standards
<br />Division, is hereby adopted by ref-
<br />erence ,with the exception of the
<br />optional' chapters, unless specifi-
<br />cally adopted in this ordinance.
<br />The Minnesota State Building
<br />Code is hereby incorporated in this
<br />Code of Ordinance as if fully .set
<br />out herein. Optional chapter 1335
<br />"Floodproofing Regulations" is
<br />hereby adopted.

<br />Section 2. Sec. 30-82. of the Elk
<br />River City Codes of Ordinances

<br />read as follows;

<br />State Building Code. The council
<br />shall establish the fees and
<br />charges from time tatime by reso-
<br />lution.. '
<br />Section 4. Sec. 30-83 (c) (2) of the
<br />Elk River City Codes of
<br />Or<Jinancesshall be and is hereby
<br />amended.to read as follows:
<br />(2) All plans and specifications,
<br />except for single-family dwellings,
<br />or any other buildings exempted
<br />by. Minnesota Statute or the
<br />Minnesota State Building Code,
<br />shall be prepared and signed' bya
<br />registered architect or a registered
<br />professional engineer duly quali-
<br />fied by registration as required by
<br />Minn. Stats. 326.02.

<br />shall take effect upon publication
