Capital costs include all of the estimated costs of making improvements to the <br />existing railroad track bed, the costs of building stations and parking lots, the cost of the <br />rolling stock and the maintenance facilities that will service the equipment of the line. In <br />addition, the capital cost component includes $24 million that will be needed to extend <br />the line so that it connects with the Hiawatha LRT currently being built in the Twin <br />Cities. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br /> <br />
