At this meeting we were asked to do a layout and a proposal to furnish and install these lights. Attached is a lighting layout for the 193`d Avenue road extension. Due to little or no extra right- of-way to mitigate wetland impact issues, we have limited space to install a lighting system. The lighting system can be placed in the road median or adjacent to and under the sidewalk. Neither is desirable from an ongoing maintenance issue but both certainly doable. If trees are to be planted in the median, the lights should be placed along the sidewalk which is our suggestion. We are proposing to install the street light system on 23' fiberglass poles with 150W HPS traditionaire fixtures on mid-block and cobra head on existing wood poles at the intersections. We propose to provide all labor and materials to furnish and install the required lighting on a time and material basis with an estimated cost of $55,000. Because we will be boring under new and existing roads and placing cable under the sidewalk, some field coordination will be required.
