TO REVIEW THE RIVER PATHWAY PROPOSAL -- APPROVED. <br /> <br />C:OUNC:ILMEMBER FARBER SEC:ONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.1. Continued Board of Review Meeting <br /> <br />Ty Bischoff and Jerry Kritzeck of the Sherburne County Assessors Office were <br />present for this item. Ty Bischoff indicated that Tim Neary questioned his <br />assessment for his building located on Parcel 75-427-0210. Action on this issue was <br />postponed to the May 13, 1996, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Jerry Kdtzeck indicated that he inspected the site and found that the building <br />was in poor condition, that there were drainage problems, and that the asphalt <br />parking lot had to be resurfaced. Due to these issues, he recommended that the <br />valuation of the building be reduced by $34,000 leaving the building with a total <br />value of $220,300. <br /> <br />COUNClLMEMBER DIETZ MOVED TO LOWER THE BUILDING VALUATION FOR PARC:EL <br />75-427-0210 BY $34,000 DUE TO THE NUMBER OF IMPROVEMENTS THAT ARE <br />NEC:ESSARY LEAVING THE TOTAL LAND AND BUILDING VALUATION FOR THIS PARC:EL <br />AT $220,300. COMMISSIONER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 3-0-2. Councilmembers Holmgren and Scheel abstained. <br /> <br />5.1a. April 30, 1996, Board of Review Minutes <br /> <br />5.5. <br /> <br />COUNC:ILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO APPROVE THE APRIL 30, 1996, BOARD OF <br />REVIEW MINUTES. COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />CARRIED 3-0-2. Councilmembers Holmgren and Scheel abstained. <br /> <br />Review State Law Requirement for Certification of Local Performance Measures <br />for Local Performance Aid <br /> <br />COUNC:ILMEMBER HOLMGREN MOVED TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO CREATE A <br />PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM TO BE REVIEWED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND <br />APPROVED FOR IMPLEMENTATION AS REQUIRED TO QUALIFY FOR 1998 LOCAL <br />PERFORMANCE AID (LPA). COUNCILMEMBER FARBER SECONDED THE MOTION. THE <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> <br />5.6. Consider Request for TIF Assistance for McChesney Cabinets <br /> <br />City Administrator Pat Klaers reviewed the tax increment financing request from <br />Jerry McChesney for McChesney Cabinets. The City Administrator reviewed the <br />timetable to complete the tax increment financing assistance request. <br /> <br /> <br />
