OTItER (NON-ASSESSMENT) COSTS

SEWER AVAILABILITY CHARGE (SAC):

SAC costs are the "buy-in to the sanitary sewer system. They pay for
the capital cost of the wastewater treatment plant and ongoing
maintenance. The current cost is $1,300, payable at the time of hook-
up.

WATER AVAILABILITY CHARGE (WAC):

WAC costs are the "buy-in" to the water system. They pay for the
capital cost of wells, elevated storage, and water treatment facilities,
along with their ongoing maintenance. The current cost is $1,000,
payable at the time of hook-up.

HOME OWNER COSTS:

The home owner is obligated for the sewer and water connect from the
property line to the home. In addition, City ordinance requires the old
septic tank to be filled in when it is abandoned. These costs are difficult
to estimate and will likely vary from property to property.

230/0(X)-1708.apr
