Thank you for your interest <br />in and support of our work. <br /> <br />We are currently cooperating with Sherburne County Public Health and District 728 <br />Community Ed. to present a Town Meeting on May 22 aimed at providing information <br />and education to members of the community regarding the concept of building assets <br />for our youth and our communities. This event is being supported by the following <br />Community Partners: Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce, Sherburne Co. Public <br />Health, Elk River Ministerium, Elk River Area Citizens League, Elk River Rotary, Rivers <br />of Hope, Elk River Star News, Community Recreation, District 728 ECFE, District 728 <br />Community Ed., District 728 Public Schools, The 2001 Committee, Inc., Sherburne <br />County 4H, Rogers Area Chamber of Commerce, Sherburne County Extension, ERA <br />High School Student Council, Sherburne County Sheriff, Elk River Police Department, <br />City of Otsego, City of Zimmerman, and the City of Elk River per phone conversation <br />with Mayor Dultsman on April 17. <br /> <br />Mayor Duitsman asked that we provide a written memo to the City Council members in <br />order that official confirmation of the support of the City of Elk River may be given at a <br />council meeting. This memo is intended to serve that purpose. <br /> <br />Thank you again for your efforts on behalf of the youth of our community. <br /> <br />Rita Johnson <br /> <br /> <br />
