Zerwas, Chief of Police~~ <br />April 3, 1996 <br /> <br />SEALED BIDS OPENED FOR OLD POLICE VEHICLES <br /> <br />This is to inform the City Council that sealed bids were accepted <br />until 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 1996, for the sale of two (2) 1993 Ford <br />Crown Victorias and one (1) 1988 Chevrolet Caprice. <br /> <br />The sealed bids were opened and witnessed by Sergeant Brad Rolfe, <br />TAC Kathy Anderson, and Secretary/Receptionist Shari Peterson. The <br />highest bids were from Welcome Motors for the two (2) 1993 Fords in <br />the amount of $5,085.00 (five thousand, eighty-five dollars) each. <br />The highest bid for the 1988 Chevrolet was in the amount of <br />$1,501.99 (one thousand, five hundred and one dollars and ninety- <br />nine cents) by David Zerwas. <br /> <br />For city Council information, last year the 1992 Ford Crown <br />Victoria that was sold through the same process netted the City <br />$4,275.00 (four thousand, two hundred and seventy-five dollars). <br />The bids this year were $810.00 (eight hundred and ten dollars) <br />higher. <br /> <br />I am pleased with the bid results and request that the City Council <br />review the bid sheet and determine if you want to accept the <br />highest bids as submitted. <br /> <br />TDZ/kma <br /> <br />13065 Orono Parkway · P.O.
