The Library Board requested KITE Architects to <br />review the original plans and develop a solution. <br />At KKE's expense, AJA Engineering developed modifications to the book drop driveway. In addition to <br />widening the lane, a bollard will be installed to protect the building. Attached is a plan set and <br />specifications. Plans, specifications, and the RFP were prepared at no cost to the City. City staff met AJA <br />staff onsite and filmed a large truck using the proposed new route successfully. <br />Two quotes have been received: <br />FPI Paving Contractors Inc. - $12,925 <br />Buck Blacktop Inc: - $14,390 <br />Staff is requesting authorization to contact with FPI Paving Construction Inc. for a total of $12,925 <br />The library reserve fund balance has sufficient funds to fund this project.
