The meal cast of <br />$12.50 includes salad, roll, baked potato, 8 ounce top sirloin steak and <br />shrimp. The cost also includes tax, gratuity and room rental. <br />ACTION REQUESTED <br />Staff is reauestine feedback from the Council re~ardin~ the followine <br />issues: <br />• 1. Who should be included in the appreciation program. <br />2. Whether the Council is agreeable to the location, meal content and cost. <br />3. Whether the council feels that a gift should be given to the volunteers. <br />4. When the event should be held. The event would have to take place <br />following appointments to the offices in January. Anytime in January - <br />April would seem reasonable; keeping in mind that April is volunteer <br />appreciation month. <br />If this type of program seems agreeable to the Council, it is requested <br />that the Council adopt this program by motion so that staff can <br />proceed with the planning process. If the council adopts the program, <br />policy and guidelines for the program will be drafted and brought to <br />the Council for approval. <br />• <br />
