TRI-SHEEN <br />ACRYLIC can also be intermixed <br />with the TRI-CON System to aid in <br />color stability and further promote <br />adhesion. <br />With addition of the TRI-SHEEN <br />ACRYLIC over textured surfaces a <br />more uniform color will be <br />achieved. This type of system also <br />offers .the architect an endless <br />choice of accent colors for graphic <br />uses. <br />TRI-SHEEN ACRYLIC has been <br />formulated to maintain a complete- <br />ly breathable film when used in <br />conjunction with TRI-SHEEN Con- <br />crete Surfacer or the TRI-CON <br />System. <br />The proper breathability (or perm <br />factor) of a concrete coating is an <br />essential performance factor that <br />must be incorporated in the formu- <br />lation process thru the careful se- <br />lection of polymers and resins. <br />The ability of a coating to prop- <br />erly breath allows any trapped <br />moisture vapors to pass through <br />the film successfully, without loos- <br />ening or pealing any of the coating <br />from the substrate. <br />4. APPLICATION PROCEDURES <br />AND INSTRUCTIONS <br />Preparation: <br />Remove all loose and or crum- <br />bled laitance and dust from the <br />Surtace. Powerwashing advisable. <br />Grease, oil and any form release <br />agents should be removed with <br />TK-101 chemical Leaner or other <br />suitable cleaner. Do not leave pool- <br />ing or pockets of water on the sur- <br />face. If the surface needs repair, <br />TK Concrete Patch is recommend- <br />ed, allow to fully cure (48-72 hrs.). <br />If other patching materials are to <br />be used consult the manufactures <br />application instructions for cure and <br />recoat times. <br />Application: <br />TRI-SHEEN ACRYLIC may be <br />applied by spray, roller or brush <br />methods. Slight dampening of the <br />surface may be required if applied <br />during hot or windy conditions. <br />TRI-SHEEN ACRYLIC is pack- <br />aged ready to use, no thinning is <br />required. DO NOT THIN. <br />TRI-SHEEN ACRYLIC should be <br />applied only when ambient air tem- <br />perature has been 45 degrees F. <br />or above for a period of no shorter <br />than 48 hcurs prior to application. <br />Avoid application when the chance <br />of mist, rain or temperatures below <br />45 degrees F, could result within a <br />48 hour period. <br />TRI-SHEEN ACRYLIC should be <br />applied using approved application <br />methods on sound, clean properly <br />prepared surfaces.
