Elk River Summer Boys' <br />Basketball League <br />This league is for boys entering grades <br />5-10 in the fall of 2000. The league <br />will begin the week of June 18th, and <br />will be held Monday-Wednesday <br />between the hours of 12:45-4:00 p.m. <br />at Elk River Sr. High. Entry Fee is <br />$30.00 per player ($35 after June 8th) <br />and checks should be made payable <br />to Elk River Varsity Basketball. If you <br />have any questions contact Dan <br />Bursheim at 241-9026 or Karl/Kurran <br />at 441-3414. Deadline for this <br />registration is June 8th, 2000. This league is <br />for any women 18 years and older and <br />includes singles and possibly doubles if <br />there is enough participation. <br /> <br />Informational meeting and league <br />rating is on Wednesday, May 30th at <br />6:30pm at the Senior High <br />courts-please bring you racquet. Fee <br />for the league is $20. League play is <br />Wednesday evenings, beginning June <br />6th. Deadline for registration is May <br />30. For additional information please <br />contact Dawn Anderson at 441-5042. <br /> <br />Girls Youth Basketball <br />2001-20021 fall season <br /> <br />Registration is now in process for the <br />2001-2002 fall season. Watch for <br />flyers which will be coming home from <br />school with students in May. Bring you friends, <br />do fun learning activities, and explore <br />for a day. <br /> <br />Cost is $3 per camper. Each camper <br />will need to bring a bag lunch. <br /> <br />"Explore Day Camp" will be held <br />Thursday, August 16th at Orono Park <br />in Elk River from 9-3pm. It is <br />sponsored by the Sherburne County <br />4-H program. Any questions contact Brad <br />Wick at 441-5464 after 4pm. <br /> <br />Boys Summer Basketball <br />Camp <br />The Elk River High School Boys' <br />Varsity basketball staff will be offering <br />summer basketball camps. These <br />camps will be designed to improve the <br />fundamental skills of all players who <br />attend. The 9th grade camp is intended <br />to help prepare players for the high <br />school program. The camp fee is $35 <br />per session. Each session is limited to <br />30 players, so it is important to sign up <br />early!
