Boys & Girls Clubs of Elk River <br />Mission <br />To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to <br />reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. <br />Value Statement <br />To provide a safe place, positive place and have a significant impact on <br />their lives. <br />Guiding Principles <br />Boys & Girls Clubs of Elk River aspire to: <br />^ Develop lasting partnerships with Elk River and the surrounding <br />areas. <br />^ Explore new programs to address community and youth needs. <br />^ Work on the behalf of all Elk Rivers' youth and teens. <br />^ Provide proven impact to Clubs member and the communities they <br />serve. <br />Shared Vision - 20'10 <br />Looking to our future, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elk River will be: <br />• viewed as the experts on children and leading advocates on <br />children's issues; <br />• seen and supported by other agencies as the "go to" organization <br />that can deliver on program needs for youth throughout the <br />community; <br />• distinguished as an organization that is willing to partner and seek <br />and leverage sustainable public and private resources to make a <br />difference in kids' lives; <br />• representative of Boys & Giris Clubs of America, recognized as the <br />premiere youth development organizations that improve and save <br />members' lives throughout the community and surrounding areas; <br />• seen as a safe haven and growing force, expanding into un-served <br />and underserved communities. <br />
