This is the first project in the Commercial Reserve Transitional (CRT) area. The interim use is
reviewed for not only compliance with the typical conditional use permit concerns, but also the intent of
the future use of the district. Any new development in the CRT area has the potential to alter or impact
the planning or final development efforts.
Plannin$ Commission Discussion
The Planning Commission had concerns with traffic on and off site, security, noise generation. At the
meeting, the Commission learned that there is a variety of events, from single day practice sessions to
three-day competition events. Traffic leaving the events is typically staggered throughout the day so there
is no one time rush. The applicants indicated no plans to add lighting.
C:\Documents and Settings\jjoluzson\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK49\Staff report to CC 7-21-08.doc
