There are many opportunities and challenges ahead as Elk River strives to develop a first <br />class park system. The Park Commission and staff are striving to strike a balance between <br />development of parks and preserving a portion of our natural resources. The goal is to serve <br />the current population while yet ensuring that future generations will have wild and scenic <br />areas to enjoy. <br />
