Mobile workshops are site inspections of <br />planning activities and developments. <br />Local experts provide the opportunity to <br />u~ the entire region as a planning <br />laboratory. Refer to pages 8 and 9 for the <br />Planning Topics at a Glance. <br /> <br />To register, circle the appropriate <br />workshop number(s) on the registration <br />form on page 39 and add the cost to your <br />conference registration total. <br /> <br />Attendance is limited. Many workshops <br />sell out quickly. The commnnity was <br />featured in tile book Cities on the Hill by <br />Frances Fitzgerald, which looked at <br />special population commnnities. <br />Highlights include special urban design <br />features, the integration of health and <br />human services, and coordiuation with <br />local government. Still in its first <br />stages, this project was funded by ISTEA <br />and was conceived by 1000 Friends of <br />Florida.
