Staff Report
Michele Bergh
March 2001

Spring Programming
We are about half way through our Winter/Spring session and have taken 1,049 registrations from 805
participants through March 9th. About 1/3 of these are non-resident registrations. I have enclosed a
copy of the new spring supplement that is going out with students at all the schools this week. This has
some new programs in it as well as a few that needed additional marketing.

Summer Programming
I have enclosed a copy of all the programs currently being planned for this summer. We are continuing
to nail down all the details of these programs and look for new opportunities as well. We are also in the
process of requesting quotes for our summer shirts. The Entertainment in the Park series in Elk River,
Otsego, and Rogers are all scheduled. We will be providing 23 entertainment opportunities this year in
the parks. Some of the additions this summer are additional theme days in Elk River and Rogers,
Wiggles and Giggles in Rogers, the adult programs and entertainment at the 4th of July Festival in Elk
River. We are always open to program ideas and would encourage you to let us know of any ideas you
have or suggestions you have gotten from your residents for programming.
