This park and ride facility is needed in order to meet the demands of <br />suburban commuters now. This future facility will be located in a developing, light industrial area <br />that is currently undeveloped land used for agricultural purposes. The location is 1/3-mile (0.5 <br />km) east of TH 10 on 171 Avenue NW/Tyler Street. The land consists of two parcels that are <br />currently for sale. See attached project location map and preliminary layout. <br /> <br />We would like to show this layout to the City Council on the February 12, 2001 City Council <br />meeting for municipal approval. A sample approval form has been attached to this letter to <br />provide you with our request, and we realize that you will use the proper form for the City of Elk <br />River. Please contact Jill M.
