Those citizens present indicated their concerns regarding the frontage road (from CR 21) that is proposed to run through the neighborhood, The citizens stated their opposition to the location of this frontage road. The citizens also indicated their displeasure of not being informed of the status of the project and stated that they wanted to be kept apprised of all meetings concerning this project. Mayor Klinzing suggested sending a letter to MnDOT from both the County Commissioners and the City Council regarding the concern of the Country Road 21 frontage road alignment. It was also noted that economics of this frontage road project should be included in the letter. It was the consensus of the County Commissioners and City Council that a letter be drafted and sent to MnDOT. Mayor Klinzing recessed the meeting at 8:35 pm and reconvened at 8:40 pm. County Expansion and Purchase of Wilson Property Discussion was held regarding the County's plan to expand to the south of its existing property. Brian Benson noted that the Planning Commission voted against the rezoning of the property but was in favor of the County purchasing the property to expand its offices. The County Administrator noted that it was not the intention of the County to use this space to expand the jail.
