Makes daily deposits, <br />maintains fixed assets records, vehicle registrations and licenses, and micro loan records. Performs <br />various finance related clerical functions including filing, records retention, and others. <br /> <br />Essential Functions <br />1. Performs data processing activities. <br /> A. Assembles financial information and performs data processing activities such as <br /> general accounting data and other miscellaneous financial information. <br /> B. Performs accounts receivable functions such as invoicing, maintaining an accounts <br /> receivable register, recording payments, sending statements and delinquent notices. <br /> C. Codes receipts, assists with data entry of receipts. <br /> D. Serves as backup for payroll and accounts payable. <br /> <br />Performs cash deposit functions. <br />A. Audits cash receipts from off site locations. <br />B. Prepares and delivers daily deposits. <br /> <br />Performs accounting and finance functions. <br />A. Maintains fixed asset records for all assets. <br />B. Maintains micro loan records, calculates interest rate adjustments, and provides <br /> payoff information. <br />C. Assists in maintaining and reconciling general financial information for the City, <br /> including, but not limited to bank statements, general account statements, accounts <br /> receivable statements and accounts payable statements. <br />D. Performs accounts payable and payroll processing as backup to payroll and sr. <br /> accounting clerk. <br /> <br />Performs general clerical activities. <br />A. Maintains department files and performs department's record retention duties. <br />B. Maintains all vehicle titles, registrations, and licenses. <br />C.
