The study included an evaluation of the facilities existing layout and store <br />condition, an evaluation of the store's current site based on existing conditions and proposed <br />future highway improvements, a analysis of growth trends and demographic characteristics <br />including consumer expenditures, analysis of retail sales of alcoholic beverages, an analysis of <br />competitive facilities, their market share, positioning, product mix, price points and customer <br />profile. Demand calculations were made based on projected growth, increased traffic, and the <br />potential share of sales capturable by an expanded facility. <br /> <br />Client: City of St. Francis <br />Contact: Mr. Steve Bjork, City Planner, (763) 753-2630 <br /> <br />An Analysis of the Potential Demand for a Municipal Liquor Store, Anoka, Minnesota <br />The City of Anoka engaged Maxfield Research Inc. to examine the potential demand for a liquor <br />store in the City of Anoka, Minnesota. Population, household and employment growth trends <br />were examined in a draw area determined to be appropriate for a liquor store on an identified <br />site.
