Planning staff surveyed <br />similar communities regarding land use application fees. These fees include: <br /> <br /> Administrative Subdivisions <br /> · Conditional Use Permits <br /> · Easement Vacations <br /> · Ordinance and Land Use Amendments <br /> · Plats <br /> · Site Plan Reviews <br /> · Subdivision Exemptions <br /> · Variances <br /> · Zone Changes <br /> · Planned Unit Developments <br /> <br />Attached for the Council's review is a summary sheet detailing the various fee amounts. For the <br />most part, our fees are not "out of line", however, they could afford to be increased slightly <br />especially in regards to some of the residential applications. Many of the land use application fees <br />have not been increased in recent years (at least three years). In addition, our escrows appear to be <br />relatively low in relation to the amounts that we currently bill for engineering and attorney services. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council consider the following changes regarding land use <br />application fees: <br /> <br /> <br />
