Agenda Item #2a MEMORANDUM October 31, 2002 To: From: Subject: NCDA Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee NCDA Contracts for 2003 Attached is the 2003 budget as approved by the NCDA on June 24, 2002. The contracts as proposed below are consistent with and set forth in the approved budget. The Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee is requesting that the NCDA enter into: · Amendment No. 3 with Loch & Associates increasing the contract amount by $25,000 and extending the term of the contract through December 31, 2003; · Amendment No. 3 with Ken Stevens increasing the contract amount by $30,000 and extending the term of the contract through December 31, 2003; and · Amendment No. 3 with Richardson, Richter & Associates, Inc. increasing the contract amount by $55,000 and extending the term of the contract through December 31,2003. · Amendment No. 1 with Himle Horner Incorporated increasing the contract amount by $350,000 and extending the term through December 31, 2003. The Executive Committee / Capital Budget Committee is also requesting that the NCDA enter into contracts with: · Messerlie & Kramer for an amount not to exceed $35,000 and a term of January 1 through December 31, 2003; · Capital Partnership for an amount not to exceed $35,000 and a term of January 1 through December 31, 2003; and · Mulienholz, Brimsek & Belair for an amount not to exceed $30,000 and a term of January 1 through December 31, 2003. Action Requested: The Executive Committee recommends that the NCDA approve the proposed 2003 contracts as shown above and authorize the Chair to finalize negotiations and execute the contract amendments and contracts.
