Commissioner Tom Mesich (term expires 2/28/04) resigned from the <br />Planning Commission, as he moved to Burns Township, and Commissioner Michael Baker <br />(term expires 2/28/03) recently tendered his resignation due to a change in his employment <br />status. <br /> <br />Analysis <br /> <br />Four applicants have applied for the two vacant positions. Arthur Jackett, a 1.6-year retired <br />resident of the City, has applied. Mr. Jackett is a retired civil engineer and has an interest in <br />participating in commun,ty activities. <br /> <br />Mr. Peter Lemke, a 12-year resident of the City, has also applied. He is a civil engineer and <br />could bring experience in transportation and planning to the Commission. He is also <br />interested in participating in community activities. <br /> <br />Harold Morphew has also applied to be on the Commission. A 12-year resident of the City, <br />Mr. Morphew is a senior mechanical designer at MTS Systems and is interested in learning <br />how the City operates. <br /> <br /> <br />
