The red brick building has two <br />storefronts divided by a brick pier. The storefronts have been modernized and clad in <br />permastone, and the transom filled with glass block. The simple parapet with a corbel <br />course is intact. <br /> <br />Significance <br /> <br />647 Main Street is typical of Elk River's smaller commercial buildings built between.ca. <br />1904 and 1912.
