S. Highway 10 <br />on the west side of Elk River. This is a good location physically and geographically for a second <br />municipal liquor store in Elk River. Like the original store, it has the advantage of being on the <br />"lake destination" commuter side of the highway. There is a small new housing development now <br />under construction just north of the site. This location will have good exposure to transient <br />traffic, but it does not have the support of the major shopping area of Elk River that the original <br />location does. There is a Holiday Station Store on the south side of the highway which will allow <br />for some limited adjacent help. Limited, because this station is on the other side of U.S. Highway <br />10.
