This includes the videotaping and Live cablecasting of city meetings and <br />government/community events, camcorder shooting, still photography, reporting and interviewing, <br />editing, setup, tear-down, creating graphics, and recording sound as needed. <br /> <br />Essential Functions <br />1. Videotapes and cablecasts government meetings. <br /> A. Prepares for meetings by creating video agendas. <br /> B. Prepares Council Chambers for meetings. <br /> C. Performs videotaping of government meetings. <br /> D. Opens and closes city hall before and after meetings. <br /> E. Communicates with Cable Television Coordinator to facilitate any pre/post- <br /> production arrangements that may be necessary for meeting and program coverage. <br /> <br />Assists <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br /> <br />the Cable Television Coordinator with other programming related duties. <br />Performs camcorder shooting of government/community events for playback. <br />Edits stock footage into video packages - may include voice-overs or stand-ups. <br />Maintains video bulletin board by creating graphic pages on Character Generator. <br />Labels master tapes with rifle, date, and runtime and programs them into the <br />channel. <br />Perform other ancillary duties as needed and as directed by supervisor. <br /> <br />Performs other essential job duties. <br />A. Regular and timely work attendance. <br />B. Follows all safety procedures. <br />C. Participates in safety training. <br /> <br />Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities <br /> n Ability to work flexible hours as needed including evenings and weekends. <br /> Ability to Lift portable equipment. <br /> Ability to provide own transportation. <br /> Ability to adhere to all Cable Television Channel Usage Guidelines. <br /> Ability to follow all City Safety PoLicies. <br /> <br />Page 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
